Spartacus Books (Bookstore)
Since 1973, Spartacus Books is a non-profit, volunteer & collectively run bookstore & resource center located right on the edge of Vancouver's Eastside. The store has been successfully run for over 35 years by a collective of volunteers.

Vegan collectively run restaurant with pretty lights, a chess table, fair trade coffee, some graffiti in the bathroom, a squeaky front door and a radical bookstore. Go there or suffer, foolish mortals!

Junto Local 91 (Radical Library)
A fucking awesome free library specializing in rare, relevant and radical books and zines. Actually, pretty much any zines. We also specialize in being super sexy librarians, some of whom will gladly drink beer/coffee/RC cola (tastes depending on librarian. Offer good while supplies last) and talk about books with you.

Anchor Archive Zine Library (Zine Library/Distro)
An great little zine library with a small disto section. Also a workspace with typewriters, a heavy duty stapler and paper cutters. A library membership costs $2, the donation of a zine or some volunteering at the library. They also host workshops and have an artist in residence program.

Uprising (Infoshop)
A great bookstore/infoshop in Kensington Market on Kensington Avenue. Books, Zines, Tee Shirts, Handmade postcards, other crafty things. It is quite a red and black building in the midst of retro shops.

go anywhere in Windsor (or practically all of Canada) and there will be Tim Hortons. It is the donut shop of Canada. Try the Timbits. I also recommend the chocolate chip muffins
