| Hey- Quick plug: if anyone’s looking for some reading material, I just put out a couple of new fanzines. Here’s a rundown on their contents: You Idiot #4 The all-satan issue. Articles about: --weird religious folks who accuse christian bands like Amy Grant and Stryper of being created by the devil --people who burn and cut Harry Potter books because they think satan possessed JK Rowling and made her write them in order to increase witch-recruitment levels --the small town in Florida that banned the devil. Did it work? Or did he sneak back in? You’ll have to buy the issue to find out --botched exorcisms --Phil Phillips, the man who thinks toys like My Little Pony and the Gummi Bears are satanic Whiskey Plus #1 (this one is actually a couple months old, but what the hell) Music-related zine. Articles include: --a look at the dreck on the billboard charts --karaoke reviews --songs called “Fuck You” --Reviews of the music my coworker listens to while I’m hungover --a review of a Korn concert --an attempt at deciphering Oasis lyrics, specifically the couplet “Slowly walking down the hall / faster than a cannonball” So there you have it.
